Experian's databases are updated on a daily basis in order to keep our information current and accurate, and fulfil our legal obligations as a data provider. Amendments are made either by our team of dedicated data entry specialists, or, in some cases electronically. Strict quality control procedures are in place to ensure all data is rigorously checked for accuracy.

The updates to the database take place between midnight and 6am in order to cause minimum inconvenience. Whilst they are occurring the database is offline.
