- checks the Electoral Roll to verify a candidate's current and two previous addresses
- confirms the date of birth — where appropriate
- checks publicly available data to reveal any adverse information, including County Court Judgments, Bankruptcies, Voluntary Arrangements etc (this search will be at current and previous addresses)
- ascertains whether a candidate holds any current or previous directorships or is currently disqualified
- checks Experian's databases for up to five additional addresses that may not have been disclosed by the applicant, for associated detrimental data

When additional undisclosed addresses are found, full details of these can be obtained at a cost of £3.31 per address.
